Ofsted defines cultural capital as:

“… the essential knowledge that pupils need to be educated citizens, introducing them to the best that has been thought and said, and helping to engender an appreciation of human creativity and achievement.”

At Wolviston Primary School leaders, including governors, have ensured the knowledge that our pupils need to live and thrive in culturally and ethnically diverse modern Britain is contained within our bespoke curriculum. Cultural Capital is not a separate ‘thing’ but a golden thread, woven through everything we do to teach and prepare our children to succeed in the future.
